Totally in love with Sara Barielle’s new happy break-up song, Gonna Get Over You. I absolutely love the video and the song. The whole dancing around the supermarket thing, reminds me of Michael Buble’s Haven’t Met You Yet.
Anyway today was kind of interesting in a special way. I guess it’s time to start living life. As Sara Barielles sings, “This time not for you,just for me”. Well, I guess some songs do kind of give you an epiphany. School’s starting soon, the last year of real uniform wearing, school bag tugging, national anthem singing “school”. Nostalgic much? How have the past 12 years been? Just flew by? Thinking about friends all the way from 12 years ago, requires some serious long term memory digging.
2012 is going to be an interesting year, the world is supposedly ending isn’t it? Whether or not that happens is a serious mystery, but one thing’s for certain, we can live with that in mind and just venture into “uncharted” waters headfirst, courtesy of Sara Barielles and willing to “roll with the punches” as Lenka likes to put it.
We’ll be alright.
